Who is responsible
SleepPriority is an editorial journal about sleep, published at sleeppriority.com. The responsible publisher and author credited for AI-assisted material is Marek Bdžoch.
This notice describes personal information processed when you visit the website, subscribe to email, or join the free seven-night programme. SleepPriority is not a medical service and does not provide individual diagnosis or treatment.
What this site collects
Website visits. Pages are served from European hosting. Server and platform logs may include an IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer and timestamps. These are used to operate, secure and debug the site.
No advertising analytics. The public journal does not send visitor data to Google Analytics or similar advertising measurement products. A tag-manager slot is only active when an operator explicitly configures it.
Email programmes. If you confirm a subscription or the seven-night series, we store the email address you submitted, the language you chose, consent evidence, and operational fields needed to send, confirm or unsubscribe. The seven-night programme also stores the bedtime and time zone you provided so reminders can be scheduled.
Forms and confirmations. Confirmation and unsubscribe links use signed tokens. We do not require an account to read the journal.
We do not ask for health records, payment cards or government identity documents on these public pages.
Why we use the information
We use personal information to:
- deliver the pages and files you request;
- send email you asked for, including confirmation and unsubscribe messages;
- keep the service secure and investigate abuse;
- meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the seven-night programme as a general marketing list. Programme email is limited to that series and its confirmation messages.
Where information is stored
The application and database run on Railway infrastructure in the European Union (Amsterdam). Uploaded media used for the journal are stored with that deployment.
Email is sent through the operator's configured email provider when those services are enabled. Provider processing then follows that provider's terms and location.
We keep operational records only as long as needed for the purpose above, including the time required to honour an unsubscribe request and to investigate abuse.
Cookies and local storage
The public journal does not depend on advertising cookies. Essential cookies or storage may be used for administration login, security, or a confirmed email preference. You can read the journal with cookies disabled; some forms and the CMS administration will not work without them.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from programme or newsletter email using the link in the message. You may also write to us and ask what personal information we hold, to correct it, or to delete it, where the law gives you that right.
Do not send medical records or other sensitive information to a public contact form or a general inbox unless we have asked for it through a specific, appropriate channel.
Children
The journal is written for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in order to offer them an email programme.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when the way we handle information changes. The date above shows the latest editorial revision.
